Has anybody any experience of the eero router?

FIbrus was set up this morning. Quite efficient, underground install done in 90 minutes and eero working with the identical speeds as promised. The eero app, though, is rubbish. Despite the eero being right beside me, the app says it can't find it. Support's solution - the tried and tested 1990's IT favourite - "Reboot and see if that helps." I'll pass on that, thanks.
Thanks.  Is your eero plugged directly into the ONT or is there a Fibrus or other box inbetween?

Apparently the Vodafone router can’t be configured as a bridge but I’ve read that the eero can be be connected directly into the ONT.
I got some progress on that. I used Chat and this time, as soon as I said the eero can't connect, they replied that they'd 'created my account'. I had no idea what this entailed or why it hadn't been done prior, but when I tried the app again it logged me straight in and now it appears to be working. It's only useful to me for changing my password (which was absurdly guessable) but at least it's there now.

There are plenty of boxes. Next to the ONT is a white box which might be a battery backup (although I didn't ask for that). Next to that is the Grandstream ATA for the phone line (I got a retro analogue phone which works OK with it) and the eero itself.

Hi - just a quick update.  I bought a three box Eero 6e pro from CEX, unplugged the Vodafone router and plugged the Eero directly in to the Openreach supplied ONT on the wall.  Eero was a doddle to set up (I needed to contact Vodafone for PPPoE login details using the online chat but this was straightforward and they texted me instantly).

Very happy with the setup and it is working really well.

The only issue is that Eero doesn’t support WPS and so with some devices I had to use the VF router (with the new wifi password) to connect them.   However now that’s done the Vodafone router will be going in the loft

We don’t have a landline though.
