Hi there, 
I really need some help / advice.

i have read the newbies forum and post 2 but i don’t think i can find anything to help my particular situation…

I got a parking ticket from Union House in Billericay on the 9th August 2023.

i have received a few DCBL letters and I rang them today and they said it’s been given to DCBL legal… what’s annoying is, I actually did pay for parking which was £2 but of course these letters have said otherwise!

I appealed the original parking ticket and didn’t recieve the rejection but not getting the DCBL letters

im worried I’ll be given a CCJ… I know on the forum it says to contact the land owner directly but apparently ‘union house’ isn’t someone I can contact, my only contact for this particular place is smart parking but smart parking seem impossible to contact and now I’m at a loss as to what to do, 

what do I do please can someone help me.

i have screenshots from my bank showing that I paid for the parking on the 9th but then in the list of transactions the payment come out on the 10th but the reference is 9th August so the only thing I can think of is that because the payment came out on the 10th, does that mean it looks like on their system I didn’t pay on the 9th?

As your case is now with DCB Legal you can expect the Letter of/before Claim you read about in NEWBIES Post 2. Head back there re-read that post so you are prepared. Follow forum advice and correspond only when it's advised.

You do know DCB Legal discontinue most court cases that are defended.
