Money Moral Dilemma: Should I give my neighbour the cash I made from selling their railings?

Imo you should never list items on sale unless you own them, that includes discarded items which your neighbour owns, unless they give you permission.Hypothetically, the person asking this question, offered to undertake work for free. so if they made profit, they should disclose it with the neighbour and agree what to do with the profit.0

I would split it 50/50. You did the hard work but the railings did belong to your neighbour. Although they asked you to get rid of them, I think they would be chuffed to get some money. They may even refuse and tell you to keep it for doing them a favour.Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £80,748.41 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £205 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £215.47 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £1,406.55 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0
