Visit Mons will also provide 2 Mons cards, granting access to the town’s museums for one day (the activation starts once the QR code is scanned in a museum).

VISITWallonia Competition Rules

ARTICLE 1 – ORGANISATION, DATES AND SCOPE

1.1. The non-profit association Wallonie Belgique Tourisme (VISITWallonia), abbreviated as WBT, with its registered office at Rue Marché aux Herbes 25-27, 1000 Brussels, and its operational office at Avenue Comte de Smet de Nayer 14, 5000 Namur, registered with the BCE under number 0888.366.085, is organising this competition on its website and promoting it via its newsletter and social media.

1.2. The competition will be accessible from November 3rd at 09:00 until November 9th at 23:59. Participants must answer a knowledge question and a tie-breaker question to determine the winner(s) among correct answers.

1.3. The prizes will consist of items related to Wallonia, as described in Article 5.

1.4. Participation in the competition implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules and any decisions taken by the organiser.

ARTICLE 2 – ELIGIBILITY

2.1. Open to individuals aged 18+ who reside in the United Kingdon, excluding WBT staff, its partners, and anyone involved in organising the contest. Also excluded: first-degree relatives and household members of such persons.

2.2. If a participant's email becomes inactive, they must inform the organiser at concours@visitwallonia.be.

2.3. Only valid entries meeting all requirements will be considered.

2.4. Fraudulent attempts (e.g., multiple accounts, false information) may result in immediate disqualification without notice or appeal.

ARTICLE 3 – HOW TO ENTER

3.1. To enter:

• Fill in your contact details
• Answer the knowledge question
• Answer the tie-breaker: “How many people will enter our competition between November 3rd at 09:00 until November 9th at 23:59”

Each participant can enter once every 24 hours. A second attempt at the tie-breaker is allowed via the Facebook share button at the end of the game.

ARTICLE 4 – LIABILITY

4.1. WBT is not liable for events beyond its control that alter or cancel the competition.

4.2. The competition is neither managed nor sponsored by Facebook.

4.3. Participants accept the limitations and risks of using the internet, including performance issues and potential data breaches.

4.4. WBT is not responsible for internet malfunctions, technical failures, or viruses.

ARTICLE 5 – PRIZES

5.1. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.

5.2. Prizes will be sent by hand, email, or post within 15 days of the contest’s end.

ARTICLE 6 – ACCEPTANCE OF RULES

6.1. Participation implies full acceptance of the rules and a waiver of any claim regarding the competition’s organisation.

6.2. If the rules change significantly during the contest, participants will be informed via email or the official website. They may then withdraw their entry.

ARTICLE 7 – WINNER SELECTION

7.1. Winners will be selected from those who answered the knowledge question correctly.

7.2. Winners will be those closest to the correct number of participants in the tie-breaker.

7.3. In case of a tie, the earlier entry wins.

7.4. For transparency, the organiser keeps server logs (date, time, IP, result). In case of dispute, these logs serve as proof. An official bailiff may also verify the process.

ARTICLE 8 – PERSONAL DATA & IMAGE RIGHTS

8.1. Data collected will be used by WBT to run the competition and distribute prizes, in compliance with GDPR and Belgian data protection laws.

8.2. If you opt-in to receive WBT’s newsletter, your first name and email will be used accordingly.

8.3. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in the newsletter. See WBT’s Privacy Policy for more details.

8.4. Data will be kept for up to 6 months after the contest ends unless you subscribe to the newsletter. You have the right to access, correct, delete, limit, or object to the use of your data. Contact: vieprivee@visitwallonia.be.

ARTICLE 9 – GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

9.1. The competition is governed by British law.

9.2. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of Justice in London.
