Royal Mail arriving several days late

Has anyone had a load of mail suddenly turn up extremely late?
Today is 4th November 2025.
In my post today;
I got a letter dated 12/10/25 - from Standard Life - Pension related
I got an order I placed with Amazon dated 23/10/25 - I had already requested sending again or a refund
I got two letters dated 25/10/25 - from Principality BS
I got two letters dated 26/10/25 - also from Principality BS
None of this mail had stamps or postmarks. They all had a pre-printed "postage paid" in the top right instead.
Something obviously went wrong at the depot but I don't know who to contact, to make them aware.
I'm not complaining or looking for compensation but I may have been if the items were more important to me.

You can contact Royal mail directly who can contact the depot for a response. From my recent experience with Royal Mail, they will be perfectly well aware and even making formal complaints will not make the slightest bit of difference. And Royal mail don’t offer compensation for delayed standard delivery post - they would be even more bankrupt than they are now if they did.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
As I said, I'm not looking to make a complaint or gain some form of compensation. I would just like someone at Royal Mail to know that my post got lost "somewhere" so they can found out where and try to stop it happening again. Could be some kind of faulty machinery that needs fixing - e.g. a failing conveyor0

The postie who collected out bagged office mail told us that business post that was franked by the business ( postage paid) were left to last to be dealt with., despite one of the bags being franked 1st class post and in a separate bag marked 1st class.
She advised any stamped personal mail, whichWas normally included in one of the bags , should be kept out of the bags to avoid being delayed.0 -
We haven't had post for about 2 weeks, including a parcel that RM keeps saying will be delivered but isn't. I have phoned today and logged a complaint. The chap on the phone said that the sorting station will gather up all the post they have for our address and get it to us within the next 2 - 3 days. I'm hoping this works.
I do know that in our area (Dorset) that they don't have enough posties to deliver as they should and can't cover for any one that is on holiday or off sick. The local sorting office is apparently down about 25% on staffing levels. How they are going to get through the Christmas deliveries in any kind of reasonable timeframe is hard to fathom.
I do have a couple of items that I need to post but won't be dropping them in a local post office as there's no guarantee they'll go anywhere.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. It does seem to be a regional issue.
We do not really have any problems.

By coincidence, I also got a similar letter recently. Arrived on 31st October- dated 28th October.0 -
What happens to a " delayed letter " for a speeding offence ,i believe it is called a N.I.P. ? you have to reply to it in a certain time of it being issued.0
