I recieved a fine from smart parking back in 2022 I cant remember why but people told me just to ignore it as they cant enforce it ,fast forward to now I have recieved 2 letters saying it has now increased to £170 once again people have told me yeah I got those just ignore it ,now I have recieved a letter a claim form from civil national business center saying if I dont respond I will end up with a ccj and now its £302 what do I do

Have you contacted the landowner?
You won't get a CCJ unless:
1. You go to court
2. you lose in court
3. you don't pay in 28 days
That CCJ is just a threat.
Post a redacted copy of the letter from CNBC.3 -

This is all so confusing sorry didnt think about info on letter ,my government gateway doesn't show any mcol options just tax ,do I need to make a new account sorry I feel so stupid im not very technical all all these tabs ,and sticky notes ,and technical terms has got me wound up ,because I don't know what im doing im thinking should I just pay it and be done with it its got me stressed 😵💫🤯🥺1

You can only have one government gateway account, so login and then find Money Claim On Line, MCOL ( not just your tax on that gateway )
Do not pay, even if you lost next year the total would be at least £70 less1 -
