Is your passport one issued by a 'foreign' country?johnnyy said:
I actually do not have utility bills as I live with my parents and the bills are in their name.Umkomaas said:
Have you not got a utility bill (or similar) with your overseas address on it? I wouldn't be giving an unregulated private parking firm sight of your bank statement. Not sure what your passport proves, and again, much too sensitive a document to send a copy their way.johnnyy said:
Thank you so much! I will proceed to email them. I am sending them overseas bank statement and passport as proof. Really appreciate all the help!!ChirpyChicken said:Remove all the waffle
Just mention the charge of address ..the rest is just not relevant
You should include proof as well..it does help
For the bank statement I have redacted most of the information, and only kept the bank's letter head, my name and address as well as part of the account number.
I am sending my overseas passport with my name and dob as proof of ID. I have redacted my photo and passport number and all the barcodes etc. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Could they have obtained information on my nationality from DVLA?2 -
Nope, just the last recorded address of the Registered Keeper, linked to the car's VRM (number plate).johnnyy said:

Agreed, it just needs a bare statement of change of address plus the notify all agents (e.g. debt collection or legal firms) to update their records and to write only to my OVERSEAS address above.johnnyy said:

Don't send a passport - they don't have a photo database to which to compare it.1 -
Crikey. Just give them your name and address and tell them to Jeff-off.2

Most parking DPO dont actually cause any issues when this needs doing. As long as people provide proof theres rarely any issue6 -
Quick update - They rejected my appeal on the original PCN and lowered the PCN ticket to 60 pounds. They said they will send a new letter to my address overseas.
Will report back what they send me, and if they send any claim letter.
