Ring doorbell advice

Hi, I need some advice.
Over the weekend, I got a ring doorbell fitted outside my flat door as I live in a communal block with 3 other flats, but a person has just complained to my Housing Association saying its invading there privacy, this person knocked on asking if I had permission and I said yes, I got permission weeks ago, I phoned my Housing Association up again this morning and they confirmed that I can have a ring doorbell even though its in the communal area near my flat door as they said its for my safety etc.
Does anyone else have a ring doorbell if you are in a communal block? I don't get why this person complained because this person is on the top floor and I am on a ground floor, I think some people like to moan.

Presumably they (and all their visitors) have to go past your camera to get to and from their flat? If the roles were reversed then it wouldn't be an issue.Jack_bauer24 said:

We have a front and back door for communal and sometimes this person goes the back way out and my flat door is near the back door.user1977 said:
