Horizon Parking Charge Tesco Broadstairs

Good afternoon.
I received a parking charge notice for a 'parking breach' 9th August 25.
The letter was issued 15th August 25 and I was out of the country until 1st November 25, so I returned home to 3x letters chasing a response.
Arrived 20:34 and left 00:07 with photos of the car.
The thing is, the car never stopped. There were no clear signs of it being a private road, but the road was driven through at that time, visited a family member nearby, then returned several hours later through the same route in the opposite direction. Neither time did the car stop, enter a parking bay or park.
I have attached an image with the blue line showing the route taken, and the red mark of where the photos were taken.

Because of being out of the country (which I can prove with passport stamps) I have missed the response deadline.
There doesn't appear to be an obvious email address I could write to contesting the charge, so am wondering if I even bother to reply at this point?
Any thoughts please? I searched and couldn't find a similar case and am now unable to follow the guides given this happened 3 months ago now.
Many thanks!

You could try:
• PLAN A complain to landowner see NEWBIES.
• A complaint to Horizon. Find complaints procedure on their website.
Explain and show evidence you were out of the country when their letters arrived causing you to miss the opportunity to appeal. You neither parked or stopped on land they manage. Their ANPR cameras picked your car up as it drove passed and returned some hours later.
OR
Ignore debt letters (NEWBIES Post 4) wait to see if legals file a court claim, defend with forums help.3 -
Thank you for your reply.I complained to Horizon and they sent an apology and removed the charge admitting an error.Expected them to dig in trying to threaten people to give them money for nothing, the horrible thieves.Anyway, good luck out there and seems complaints can work if anyone has a similar situation in future!5

👏 an apology too, most unusual for this vile industry it's normally 'as a gesture of goodwill we have cancelled your pcn'.
Wonder how many times Horizon have made that error and how many times motorists have just paid up.2
