From a consumer rights perspective, a retailer is required to repair, replace or refund a faulty product under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, but once the first six months have passed, you'd need to be able to demonstrate that any fault was an inherent one present at the time of sale, such as a manufacturing flaw, which would often involve obtaining a report from an independent expert.

However, over and above your consumer rights, many products will have a manufacturer warranty, so that provides an alternative route if still applicable.0 -

Direct from Amazon or MarketPlace seller?
1st thing would be to really find out what the issue is.
Is this when connected to a 12V battery? Is battery charged up?
If via power block, does it work with any other products?Life in the slow lane0 -
The first thing to do is establish if it was actually from Amazon or from a 3rd party - dig out the order confirmation and this will tell you.
If it's purchased from Amazon, your rights are with them - but a lot of smaller electronics are actually 3rd party sellers who rely on Amazon to dispatch the item to customers.
If it's from a 3rd party, you have no rights with Amazon - you need to take it up with the seller.0
