    Does she have central heating? Is there a radiator on the other side of an adjoining wall? If so could she get a radiator installed off that one?

    What about the bladeless fan heaters here.
    They are a fifth the price of the Dyson ones, so would be a bit suspect of them at that price.
    On Amazon the bladeless ones tend to be around £140.
