Good morning
A wild and windy night here too, the weather was pretty rough also.
I've just finished a long phone call with my bff in Somerset, a hour and half! She only rang up to give me an update on her husband. Need to go shopping as we've just finished the last of the bread. Will have the pizza for tea.
YL, sending love and hugs to you xx
Have a good day all, take care.

Hello everyone
I'm late today as I've been having problems with a tube of silicon....Taff you would have been laughing at me. I put the roll of vinyl down in the summer house, then gets out the silicon the lady in the shop said to put round the edges...I could not fathom out how to get into it, even attacked it with the electric screwdriver at one point, googled it and found out I needed a gun attachment...I wasted so much time on it. I've now ordered some that comes in a tube.
I've been down to mam and dads for a cuppa and to check his bank this morning and made some carrot and coriander soup...I'm chuffed with myself because it tastes like...carrot and coriander soup!
I had a nice day in Alnwick yesterday and bought some bits for both daughters' stockings. Spoilt a bit though by the bus home being 45 minutes late and then being full of screaming kids, all with adults but no one told them to quieten down. Also had a lovely lunch in a new to me cafe which deserves the excellent reviews I'd read... after lentil soup and a big scone I had a huge piece of chocolate and raspberry cake, I had to ask for a bag to bring half home.
Taff - it's ANICK - well worth a visit if you're ever up this way, has a magnificent castle and the Alnwick gardens.
Now little one can spell well she's always asking why we don't say words the way they're spelt.
DD took her out trick or treating yesterday - they met up with friends from school to go round the village and she'd loved it. I had a lot at my door and used up all my sweets, my hall light was out by 6pm - all the little ones I know from nursery and school had been earlier.
It was nice your son came to spend time with you yesterday Yorkslass x
Right I've shopping getting delivered between 2 and 3pm so I'm going to get the bags out and wash my dishes. When it's all put away I'm going to have a nice read of my book x
