PC charge at Liverpool Marina with CCJ claim form sent at me

This was a charge I had from 2022, they're saying I parked illegally when basically I had gotten lost in the Marina and pulled into a layby for 15 minutes to get my bearings, I don't think I had even left the car and I didn't even know there was a parking charge in order around there.

I ignored the letters cause I thought it would go away and I refused to pay for it quite frankly because of how pathetic it all was but now this has come my way.

What should I do for a defence response? Do I saw I got lost and pulled over to get my bearings? This is making my anxiety and depression go through the roof. Also I read something about VCS vs Carr does that have anything to do with it?

You won't have been accused of criminal activity, and you won't have been sent a CCJ claim.

The advice to ignore a parking charge notice from an unregulated private parking company has not been given here since the law changed in 2012, but that cannot now be helped.

Please confirm what you have actually received. Is it a letter of/before claim from a solicitor or parking company, or is it a court claim from the Northampton bulk handling office?
If the latter, please redact (only) your personal information including claim number and passcode then post it here, but leave everything else showing, especially the particulars of claim and dates.

Also check to see if Liverpool Marina is covered by bylaws as if that is the case, the keeper cannot be held liable, which may or may not help you at this stage.
