Just change issued to contravention in your draft 

Definitely do not pay , especially because they have added on £70 or more that isn't allowed,  the original pcn was £100, not £170 ,  so save yourself money and follow our free advice here, saving you even more 

I will remind you of this when they discontinue and you dont pay a penny

Does replacing contravention with issued make sense though? 

" No PCN was contravention on the 11/05/2025".

Or could I put, The date of contravention states the 11/05/2025, but no PCN was issued on the day. Consequently, this denies the defendent of any opportunity to provide their own evidence. 

Although I have received letters and pictures but just ignored them so doesn't stand true?

3 should be something like this

3.The defendant denies all claims made by the Claimant. The Defendant has little or no knowledge or recollection of events on the dates stated. The vehicle is recognised and it is admitted that the Defendant was the registered keeper around this time. Referring to the POC: paragraph 1 is denied. The Defendant is not indebted to the Claimant. Paragraph 2 is denied. The Defendant does not accept that a contravention occurred on 11/05/2025 as alleged.  Whilst the Defendant was the registered keeper, paragraphs 3 and 4 are denied. The Defendant is not liable and has seen no evidence of a breach of prominent terms.  The quantum is hugely exaggerated (no PCN can be £170 on private land) and there were no damages incurred whatsoever.

Update, received email from DCB built litigation saying they wish to proceed and have filed a NC180. Doesn't mention about me doing one but does say in due course the court will direct both parties to file a directions questions and it has attached the claimants. 

I take it I just wait to receive mine via email or post and complete?

Also says to ring them if I wish to discuss settlement which I obviously don't
