Oh God, I just had another call from Lucy to confirm that I'll still be available for the call tomorrow morning. She was a bit stressed as today's person didn't answer their home phone til eventually their partner picked up and said "she's in bed, then hung up".

I explained that I can't get Kerrang Radio where I live and I had no idea what this was all about, apart from the useless info on the website. Apparently there will be a race in Birmingham at the Pistons event, where people will run in their underwear. From what I understood, everyone who's been contacted has been booked into the race. Wearing only underpants. In Birmingham. This Friday. :eek: :eek: :eek:

The phone call is to talk on-air about my training regime, what kind of underwear will I be wearing, etc...

Fscking hell, what have I got myself into?

If I could actually get to Birmingham for 7:30am on Friday I might be tempted for a laugh but there's really no way I can do it, or anyone else I know that will go in my place. I've wimped out and left Lucy a voicemail to say that I can't make the event and that there's no point in me going on-air tomorrow to talk about it either. Hopefully she can find someone else to take part.

omg that was me (sorry lucy)i had been up all night with my baby (shes poorly)and my oh is grumpy in the morning,plus he didnt wake me up:mad:,plus i couldnt go to birmingham tofar with 4kids,i feel guilty now :rolleyes: just hope someone can go

Don't feel too bad, I got a call for my hubby today! Fortunately I was away from the phone and she left a voicemail for him. I told him about it but needless to say he wasn't interested! :rotfl:
