App for checking off bank and credit card statement spends

I still manually tick off items on our bank and credit card statements- compare them to receipts and a list of direct debits etc. I often get behind…. Is there an app I could use for this please? If it was on my phone I could tick off/ verify items more quickly and more often! Many thanks

  • I have never seen one - I don't see many people seeing the need for you so nobody will develop one.
  • They certainly exist for business purposes as bank reconciliation is a notable function within treasury; unfortunately those systems comes with business type pricing

    I think a lot of us used to do this years ago when statements were quarterly and card and cheque payements took a bit to appear. With Internet banking and the bank's app coupled with payments being debited quicker ,sometimes instantaneously ,less use of cheques. Is there a need for you to keep doing it now ?
