Glazing trim for commercial/industrial door.

I haven't started searching yet, but thought it worth putting on here too.
This is an 'industrial' metal door with glazing panels. One of the trims has rusted through and needs replacing. I'm sure a general plastic trim can be found to do the job, but it's always easier to get the right thing :-)
It's made from steel, and has a roughly 45o fold, with each side being ~25mm wide.
I couldn't find a manufacture's label anywhere - but just realised I didn't check the top edge of the door
On the off-chance... Ta.

Edit: This should do if the real thing cannot be found: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/233479044330?

Its metal for a reason. A small metalwork engineering shop will knock one of those out very quickly.1

Yes, I think 45 years ago plastics weren't used widely in building.daveyjp said:Its metal for a reason. .1 -
They were, but not for industrial doors which get far more abuse than domestic doors.grumpy_codger said:

Well, Internet says (about doors) "came to UK in late 70s", so I wouldn't call this 'widely'0

Oi, you two!
I guess a 'metal' door is a metal door, so wouldn't have had plastic trims in any event. Possibly it was even for fire reasons? And, yes, steel is obviously far stronger.Anyhoo, it's gonna be plastic if I cannot trace the make of door. The chances of finding this will certainly be remote, and of them having replacement trims even more so.A 21" strip of plastic ain't going to cause an issue...Cheers.0 -
The problem with the one on ebay is that it's 'flexible adjustable', so possibly isn't strong enough to hold the glass unit. Look closer at the profile - it's very thin in the corner.Aluminium can be better, but it's prone to galvanic corrosion when contacts steel.1

Cheers. Yes, it's only around 2.5mm thick, but it'll be purely decorative.grumpy_codger said:The problem with the one on ebay is that it's 'flexible adjustable', so possibly isn't strong enough to hold the glass unit.
