Hello
I once again I'm here to seek advice on behalf of someone who is unfamiliar with the forum.
I have gone through the newbies threads. But would like the simple step of breakdown of how to proceed with this particular case so that I can relay that information to the person.
I have attached the letter that was received. From what I understand, they have ignored the previous letters that were of threatening nature that we have grown accustomed to on this forum. Now they have received this one through the post and have no idea what to do. What would be a step by step approach.
Any pointers would be highly appreciated and I will relay this information to the person in question.

if not just pay it2 -
So they ignored all the scary threatograms then went on to ignore the stamped County Court Claim form ? If so it will be difficult to get set aside, failing to pay within 30 days of judgement will lead to a CCJ on their credit file which could make it difficult to get further credit and maybe private housing for up to 6 years and get scary bailiffs knocking at the door. So what do they want to do ?1

Do you mean just paying the amount that's written on the dcbl letter. Would the ccj be removed by paying thatChirpyChicken said:best just paying it0 -
no it would stay on his file for 6 years as settled
he could have a punt and pay £313 to try and set it aside, but unlikely to work1 -

Are you sure they didn't ignore a Claim Form? We think they did...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
