ICICI not responding to any of my emails

I have been trying to open an account with ICICI for months. Because of a new address of mine they sent me an initial query via email.
Despite emailing them time AND time AND time AND time ago, they haven't even bothered to respond to a single one of my emails. they clearly don't want my money.
To be honest, I would be very very careful of opening an account with ICICI now. I have never ever had this level of disregard from a bank.

 I sent ICICI a cheque to open a new account on 22 December. I emailed them last Friday (4 Jan) as I had not heard back from them and the cheque hadn't been cashed. They emailed to say they still hadn't received the cheque. So, I've just phoned them today (8 Jan) only to be informed that they have returned my cheque to me. W-H-Y? Because the pre-printed name on my chequebook is not my full name! What they mean is that if your name is John Smith and your chequebook therefore shows J Smith, that's not the same! I was absolutely stunned, especially as in their email letter confirming receipt of the online application and telling you to send a cheque to open the account it clearly states "Please ensure that the cheque ... has your INITIALS pre-printed on it.” This is so ridiculous. Surprise surprise I will not be opening an account and have told them to delete all of my details from their system. BE WARNED!0

I have to admit, I was not too impressed with ICICI. I applied for an account and it took them ages to respond. By then I had lost confidence in them and decided not to open the account. They just seemed a little too slow for my liking0
