How do you track all savings/bank accounts including those such as T212/Chip/Atom?

I’m trying to find all my ISA/savings accounts I’ve used over the years. I’ve switched them from one to another and trying to remember where I’ve put them

I used to have a spreadsheet but cannot locate this

I’ve used ‘my lost account’ but this doesn’t show everything

I’ve also submitted a subject access request with HMRC giving my NI number to see what they have on record

Is there any other method?

  • I would recommend starting with searching your emails as often your sent a email confirmation of account opening. Alternatively, look through your letter as some providers will only have sent you letters regarding opening.

If you can't find your spreadsheet, check it's not on a previous computer or laptop and you can also try searching your files (there's a search bar in file explorer) using key words such as 'ISA', 'savings', 'accounts' etc.

A combination of these two points is also helpful as you can search your emails for 'ISA'.

I use the sunset edition of Microsoft Money to record and track spending, savings and investments.  Typically monthly manual updates for interest payments, fund and stock prices, and regular savings transactions and pension / employment payments. Spending mostly tracked using downloadable statements and periodic manual entry for institutions that don't provide statements that can be imported to MSM (yes Chase, I mean you!).

A password manager (I use LastPass) helps to keep track of online accounts.

Which answers the question in your thread title, but not the one in your post (how do I find forgotten accounts).
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

. Next, check your credit report (via Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion), as this often lists active and closed savings or ISA accounts.
I have never seen any of my - by now many hundreds over the years - savings or investment accounts in any of the credit files

AI isn't intelligent enough to put a full stop at the end?

OP I would go on 'Techie Stuff' and ask how to retrieve your spreadsheet.

I wasn't referring to the OP's post but one that appears to have been deleted.
