UK Parking Patrol Office unreasonable...
I was sent a parking fine but it had gone to my old address and it was only when I revisited my old property that I was given this parking fine.
I contacted UK Parking Patrol but was told that the time to lodge an appeal had passed and I had to pay the £100 fine. I complained and said that the letter had been sent to the wrong address so could they reconsider as the attempted payment failed, and I sent them proof.
I've now been sent a letter from a debt collection agency for £170, and I can't appeal or speak to anyone, they just want the money.
Is there anything I can do in this instance?

You haven't received any fine.Have you had a read through the Newbies thread? Why did the invoice from a PPC go to an old address?Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid4

That sounds really frustrating, especially since you made a genuine attempt to pay and even have proof. In this situation, gather all your evidence — screenshots, emails, and proof of your change of address. Write formally to UK Parking Patrol explaining that you did not receive the original notice due to your address change and that you attempted payment in good faith. Also contact the debt collection agency in writing, stating the dispute and providing evidence. You can escalate the issue to the British Parking Association (BPA) or POPLA for review and advice before paying.

Your best course of action is to write to UKPPO's data protection officer to inform UK PPO of your new "address for service" and instruct them to ERASE any previous address. Send a copy of a utility bill with your new address. Make sure your car's V5C document is up to date as well, this is most likely the reason why the notice went to your old address.
UKPPO email is dataprotection@parkingpatrol.co.ukAlways remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'

Why was your V5C address out of date?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
