Car Finance claim

A bit of a issue with my claim. Both the dealership and the finance company have ceased to trade and a company that holds my data has told me that although they have my details from my previous car finance, which has been paid off, they can't help me. The previous company was bought and the details of the clients passed over but regarding the missold finance, they can't help me in this case. Anyone else on the same predicament as me? Really don't want to use a claims company but currently, can't see any other way at the moment.

What makes you think a claims co will get a different answer?

Claims firms have no special powers, all they do is use the same complaints process you use and charge you for it

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

And some claims companies in the past have included extra bits in the T&Cs that you sign up to that means they also get a cut of tax rebates and all sorts.  Avoid at all costs as they are expensive but you still have to do all the same work.

And submit things like married couples allowance and take a cut of that too!
