Parking Charge and Debt Recovery Letters

I recently booked an apartment on Booking.com down Reading, it advertised that it had parking when booking and when I arrived I parked in the spaces with the apartment company name plaque on the wall. When checking in, no one asked me regarding parking etc...

I have come home from holiday to letters from Debt Recovery Plus for £170 stating it's their 5 attempt to contact me and Car Park Management for £100!

I have since checked again on Booking.com and found that where they advertise parking, when you click on the little information sign next to it, a little drop down appears and says '£15 per night'!!!

I had no idea, no one mentioned when checking in and I would like to know if I have to pay these payments or ignore?

Yes anything from DRP is to be ignored
  • What about Car Park Management? This is a charge at the moment but I guess they will also use DRP if they don't get paid

They ARE using DRP now but they are totally useless fools so don't engage with them it's too late to appeal, not that it would be fruitful, have you complained to the land owner about their staff not informing you?

UK CPM may take it further,  but debt collectors cannot take it further, letters are nor relevant,  just a nuisance. Nobody here is interested in debt collectors letters,  so as mentioned above

you ignore ALL Debt Recovery Plus Letters,  anything from DRP is to be ignored, using a debt collector is meaningless

    However

Uk CPM will have sent out letters before DRP LTD did, to the address listed on the DVLA database,  so get your V5c log book out and check that the details are correct and up to date

Only UK CPM or their contracted lawyers can take it further
