Good morning all and thanks @Gers for the start. Glad to hear your journey was a good one, enjoy the show tonight. Last night was another wet, noisy one with gusting winds that are still here this morning but at least it's dry, bright and sunny. It's very autumnal now with the trees rapidly shedding their leaves.
Yesterday I had a cleaning session of the transom windows in the house (all my internal doors have them to allow light into the hall and landing) as well as the glazed door between the living room and hallway. Not my favourite job but it's done now. After that I rang the optician about the loose lens in my glasses and have an appointment for Friday. Handy to drop off donations and a browse around the next door CS while I'm in the area.
It's my weekly top up shop this afternoon so I hope the wind has subsided a bit by then - I don't fancy getting blown off my feet. I have some coupons for free packs of Tena pads and, whilst I don't use them, I'll get them to put in the store's donation box. I might need to hunt around for it though as it's not always in the same place! When I get back I'll empty the big walk-in cupboard ready for tomorrow's (potential) smart meter installation. I say "potential" because my last energy supplier's engineer said it couldn't be done, so we'll see. Thankfully there's not much to come out of the cupboard so that won't take too long. Tea tonight is a chicken stir fry with noodles.
Whatever you have planned for today I hope it's a good one, take care and stay safe. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.8
