No error lights.
Analogue pressure gauge is in green border.
If turned off and then back on, it seems to sort it.
This has occurred twice now in around a week or so.
Any ideas of the cause? If it's a PCB or fan, for example, then I'll probably recommend a Fixed Price Repair by WB. But if it's a simple issue, then a local repair.

The pressure gauge is fine if it is about 0.75 bar, leave it alone.
You don't say which model it is but Worcester 39 codes are often temperature related which could be a faulty sensor, or a real fault. Not something you can fix.
Your MiL could try powering down the boiler and leaving it a minute before restarting.

Thanks.
Yes, wife, who was visiting, powered it down and on again, and it fired up and ran normally.
From what I gathered from the video clip, the '39' was just the temp, and this increased rapidly on restart, going up to around 60-odd, before then falling again.
Anyhoo, I have recommended a local GS for her to call if it does this again - it's beyond my remit.
Thanks0 -
If she hasn't had it serviced recently it's probably worth her getting it done now. Better to find a problem while it's still working than waiting until she hasn't got heating1

Recommended local GS came out, and I'd sent them the sound clip. The guy who came out hadn't seen it, tho'.
He gave the boiler a good going over, adjusted some gas settings which were out, replaced the electrodes as the originals had a viewing window which is prone to failure, and - possibly significantly - cleaned out the condensate syphon which was apparently heavily compacted with hard crud - "the worst he's seen".

Glad it's sorted. Well worth getting a service each year to prevent this1

Well worth getting a service each year to prevent thisTbh, I'm not one for annual services, unless it's to maintain a warranty. The guy who came out to give my GlowWorm its first service told me two things - he had the exact same model, and he didn't even service his own each year
But, mil's GS did recommend a full 'strip down' service next year, and I think that would be sensible, as I suspect the combustion chamber has a lot of debris in it!
