Vorwerk Kobold VB 100 — discontinued, no parts available, owners abandoned

I bought a Vorwerk Kobold VB 100 in November 2022, price was +£800. In January 24 both batteries failed, leaving me months without a working vacuum. Now a vital brush has broken, and Vorwerk have confirmed this model has been discontinued — and no spare parts are available.

I am sure I am not the only affected customer. If you have this model, please share your experience.

I am collecting cases to potentially share with consumer journalists and watchdogs.

@TadleyBaggie Of course I did, I don't think I would raise the issue otherwise! I'm actually trying to find all those other customers, who must have had issues with this model; Vorwerk UK decided to discontinue and leave customers in the lurch. It wouldn't be difficult at all for UK operations to offer replacement parts. As a single person I'm powerless and at the mercy of their useless costumer service.

It's a valid question as there's lots of retailers reselling their products, and your rights change a lot if you bought from someone else.
