If you worry about you credit score yes and if you don't noandyp18 said:Hi there - is there anything to stop me from completing 2x current account switches to unlock 2 lots of rewards at exactly the same time, if the old current accounts im closing are both different banks, and likewise the new current accounts I'm switching to are different banks as well? Don't worry about the fake score, 2 hard checks for a switch bonus when there is no urgency for credit e.g. a mortgage is not a problem35har1old said:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Someone about to apply for a mortgage is likely worried about the "fake" credit score. Which gives a rough indication of how lenders across the board might see you.Nasqueron said:Don't worry about the fake score, 2 hard checks for a switch bonus when there is no urgency for credit e.g. a mortgage is not a problem0 -
That's literally what I said - when there is no urgency for credit e.g. a mortgagephillw said:

The fake score (not "fake", it's completely worthless, no lender ever uses it, heck they don't even see it) is not a guide of anything. Bankrupts get a score of 999, the credit report forum is full of posts about people with high scores being rejected for credit, all that matters is the credit historySam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
