Don't worry about the fake score, 2 hard checks for a switch bonus when there is no urgency for credit e.g. a mortgage is not a problem

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Someone about to apply for a mortgage is likely worried about the "fake" credit score. Which gives a rough indication of how lenders across the board might see you.

That's literally what I said - when there is no urgency for credit e.g. a mortgage

The fake score (not "fake", it's completely worthless, no lender ever uses it, heck they don't even see it) is not a guide of anything. Bankrupts get a score of 999, the credit report forum is full of posts about people with high scores being rejected for credit, all that matters is the credit history
