Initial Parking PCN
ZimOfBritannia
Hi all! I posted this elsewhere but figured it’d be worth posting it here too
Long and short, letter in the post last from “Initial Parking” was a PCN from a recent trip to Wales. Addressed to me as I’m the keeper of the vehicle and claims the car was parked longer than it should have been. The driver has a ticket and explicitly remembers being out in time but did mention they had some difficulty getting in/out so that might have impacted the timings? Whatever the case, Initial Parking has attached photos of the car entering/leaving but the timestamps aren’t on the photos, but external captions. And the charge is a vague “you didn’t pay enough or overstayed your time”.
I also found an interesting thread covering a similar thing as to right now at the very same car park. I can’t post the link but if you look up St Mary’s Church Betws-y-coed it should come up.
Any advice on how to go about fighting this? Many thanks!
PS Attached some photos of the letter below, apologies for the horrible quality but my sister ripped it up in anger because she doesn’t feel I should appeal. If closeups are needed or something to be typed, please let me know!

Presumably the driver paid for 60 minutes, and exceeded the extra grace period of a minimum of 10 minutes to leave ( making at least 70 minutes in total ) the time on site was 85 minutes or so
No appeal is going to work ( but that doesn't mean pay )2 -
Thank you for the response! Yes from the sounds of it the driver spent a good 5 minutes or so just trying to get in and then said there was some sort of hold up trying to get out because of how congested it was. Busy Sunday with lots of hikers about etc.Gr1pr said:Presumably the driver paid for 60 minutes, and exceeded the extra grace period of a minimum of 10 minutes to leave ( making at least 70 minutes in total ) the time on site was 85 minutes or so

I assume I should just go through the motions with the appeal and ignore the debt collector letters that come of it?1 -
