QDR from CP Plus

Afternoon all,

Just a query please.

Over parked at Surrey Quays shopping centre and was sent a PCN from CP Plus.

I appealed due to lack of markings which was refused.

They replied with..

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your correspondence relating to your Parking Charge.

The representations stated in your correspondence have been noted and considered. Please forward to us the full name and address of the driver at the time this charge was incurred so that we can update our records accordingly.

Please also confirm if you are appealing on the driver's behalf or alternatively, please request the driver appeals this Parking Charge with us directly.

We are placing this Charge on hold for 14 days from the date of this email to allow you to provide the details requested.

Yours faithfully

CP Plus Ltd

Replied with my name and address as this was a works vehicle which I was driving.

Today, received an phone call from QDR, asking if I was such and such, confirmed I was that person.

They then asked for me to confirm the first line of my address so they can confirm I am the right person. I stated surely you should you be telling me this as I have no idea who you are and I'm not giving my details out to someone I do not know!

QDR then stated as they cannot confirm who I am the phone call is to be ended, told them to take my number of their system, which will probably do nothing.

Now, should I ignore like I have previously for NCP who passed it onto ZZPS or not? This appears a different procedure from them.

Many thanks

    Great!

Yes, ignore them then, unless you move house. You just have to check every letter to be sure you never miss defending a Claim.

    Thank you.

Tbh I’ve never received any letters apart from the initial notice.

It’s all been via email and I’ve had nothing from them since.

I am potentially moving house next month so if I mail them stating this then they’ll renew their requests I assume?

You MUST advise them of your new address. It would be madness not to. That way lies a CCJ,
