You could, open a standard current account, with a debit card, and give her the card/pin and then top up that account as needed. You would then have transparency of the transactions.
But, I suppose that would be against the T&Cs of the account. OK, so don't do that then.
ETA - or make it a Joint Account...if you're happy to be financially connected, and trust them not to get into debt.
