Hi All
I have previously put a thread up but was told to come to the Newbies. I received paperwork in April 2025 and I came straight to this site for help. I was told where to send replies to etc, which I did, also sending the doc that stated that they needed to prove who the driver was. I only confirmed my new address.
I haven't heard anything back from them until last Tuesday, where I received a text message that states:
"FINAL NOTICE: As per our previous correspondence you balance of £160 is overdue. Pay immediately at xxx ... failure to act may lead to a CCJ which will affect your credit file etc etc."
I think someone mentioned to wait for a LBC (letter before claim I think?) but I haven't had anything through the post.
I am I right in assuming that I still don't do anything until I receive that? I still have responded, or confirmed who was driving.

You can edit your threads for mistakes etc
This is your 3rd thread on the same case, please report this one and the April one too, asking for all 3 to be MERGED, ( use the red Report buttons on each thread )
One case, one thread is the rule, so it grows over time
You were asked to STUDY the newbies sticky thread in announcements, which we tell everyone to do scores of times every day, all the advice is there, including ignoring text messages, phone calls and emails etc, as well as debt collectors letters , so please do so
Come back to your triple merged thread if you receive a Letter of Claim giving you 30 days notice, or a Money Claim
