Hi Gr1pr - I have received a letter from Gladstones dated 21st October, saying "We write further to our Letter before Claim dated 28th February 2025.  We strongly recommend you consider the content carefully as it contains important legal information.  The Pre-Action Protocol (PAP) period has expired.  To ensure no further action is taken, you should make payment no later than 14 days from the date of this letter.  In the event we do not receive payment within the time scale specified, our client reserves all its rights, including the right to commence court proceedings, without further reference to you, and further costs will be sought."  The signature just shows as Gladstones Solicitors.

I was surprised that this mentioned the letter before claim because the only thing I remember getting were pictures of my car parked in the disabled bay and a piece of paper that showed all the times they had tried to contact me at the old address.  I don't remember anything about it stating it was a letter before claim.  I'm not sure where it is - we are in the middle of moving and the pics might have been packed up somewhere if I still have them.

    Dont worry about it

Come back to this thread if or when you receive an N1SDT court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL in the post

Actually, looking back at my first thread on this one, I do say that I received the Letter before Claim in Feb and, as per the newbies thread, I sent the email confirming the car was mine but that I don't accept who was driving etc etc but then I didn't hear from Gladstones since March, and so have forgotten a lot of was in my first thread.

    Oh no.

That's very dangerous whilst a claim is about to be filed...you must respond to this latest letter and obviously tell them to rectify the address again and erase the two old addresses held (list them). And note the only address for service is now NEW ADDRESS IN FULL.

Send the exact same to the parking firm DPO.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
