CAMBRIDGE EXTRA REWARD MATURITY - Extra interest ?

y account matured today , new one opened as directed today and balance sent to my current account which probably won't arrive until tomorrow. However I notice my new RS had an extra 20p put in which I think must be extra interest earned for a day on the electronic payment sent today until I receive the balance tomorrow.

I suppose 20p is better than 0p but it won't change one's life. Mine matures on 30th October into an other Cambridge ERRS.0

Yes, mine has an extra 59p that appears to have been added to the first £300 deposit for the new RS. 59p per day on £3600 is roughly 6%. It might not have paid on the £128 interest.Growingold said:y account matured today , new one opened as directed today and balance sent to my current account which probably won't arrive until tomorrow. I had this too a couple of months ago, right down to the sum involved - £300.59 from the maturity proceeds as the first deposit on the ERRS.I contacted them and at my request the 59p was transferred to the EA I have with them.Looking like some form of glitch from here as the pattern is consistent on maturity.0

I can’t recall an extra amount being added to mine before, and if it was it would have been with the sum transferred to the nominated account, so the glitch must have started this year (mine was renewed in December.) I will only complain should I intend to fully fund and end up with my whole payment being returned because of a random amount of pence being added.1
