The prize:

The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, in a junior suite at Lympstone Manor, a five-star country house hotel beside the Exe estuary. Under the chef-patron Michael Caines, it offers 21 bedrooms and suites and six shepherd’s huts, as well as Michelin-starred dining and the more relaxed Pool House restaurant and bar, beside the tennis court, swimming pool and sun terraces. The views are majestic – to the estuary, across the hotel’s 11-acre vineyard, which produces pinot noir, rosé and sparkling wines.

The prize includes one Michelin-starred à la carte dinner for two (excluding drinks) with the best seasonal ingredients in the southwest. It must be taken between November 1, 2025, and October 31, 2026, subject to availability and excluding December 24 to January 1, Valentine’s Day, bank holidays and June, July and August.
