2 x speeding fines in 2 days

Apologies if this isn't the right section.
A colleague of mine has been done 3 times in 2 days. Same camera in a 30 mph zone. He thought it was a 40. Poor excuse, obviously. Theres a 39mph, 38mph and 35mph. Two fines within 1 hour of each other.
Is there any option here to plead stupidity? Or suck up the 9 points? Hes done a course 1 year ago.
Thanks for any advice.

As this is not about private parking, I suggest that you take your query over on the FTLA parking forum website and post it there after reading their posting requirements first. Somebody there can advise you
I personally think that your colleague is not going to keep their DL unless they change their drivers behaviour, especially if they have been speeding before and completed the alternative awareness course
I learned my lessons decades ago, before they did awareness courses and people lost their licence at 9 points, which i did, not 12 points like it is now
Its also much easier to be caught with modern technology5 -
The 35 in isolation he might have been given a speed awareness course but this looks like a serial offender, the last course attended stays recorded for three years so that's out, and if he cannot work out speed limit signs after that what hope is there.FTLA is the place to take this but I would not hold any hope!1

Hopefully there is not another NIP on the way which will result in a topping up ban.0
