How to prepare myself (never received PCN)

Hi all!
Received a “ WARNING NOTICE OF TRANSFER TO SOLICITORS” by the one and only GCTT for apparently being “parked in a restricted area”. I have read the newbie thread several times so I know to simply ignore these debt collectors. The date on the letter is in October yet apparently the offence took place in March, this is genuinely the only ever correspondence I’ve had on this. It is so far away that I don't even remember what I was doing that day (it was the same month I started up on my ADHD meds so my memory is a lot better now than it was then).

The creditor listed is “UK PARKING ENFORCEMENT LTD”
My V5 and DVLA have my correct address and have never changed for the duration of me passing my driving test (so ever).
My only question now is now that I am aware of this, is there anything I can do to prepare? I attempted to email shell who then said its none of their business, gave me the name of the landowner (who have mo public email address I could find) and their “number”) (which from what I can see is just the number to the petrol station.
I plan to submit a SAR to the DVLA to see who has asked them regarding my details.
i have a couple of questions:
- Do I have a valid defence since I never received any correspondence of this “invoice”, ever until now?
- the parking signs are pretty badly placed and I have never noticed them despite using the petrol station a few times (shell on Ilford Lane), would that be a contender for a defence too?
- would it be worth submitting a SAR to the creditor in question?

Ignore
You dont need to prepare anything
It says who obtained the information
Dont bother with a SAR
Ignore ZZPS0 -
Thanks for the prompt reply!
Would a SAR to the DVLA still be worth it?
i assume they never attempted to obtain my address since i received absolutely no letters, hence I could (maybe) get proof no NTK would’ve ever been sent.0 -
No not at all
