DCB Legal Smart Parking Claim

Ditto here, I did the same and googled Tower Road which gave me dozens of previous cases as you saw, a notorious trap site that has come up numerous times in the last 13
Exactly my point about the inadequate POC, which should be stated in paragraph 3 in the defence, without giving away the location ( lazy drafting by the person who signed it, as bad as saying Tottenham Court Road London, or the A34 Staffordshire )1 -
Would you mention in para. 3 that there is a witness prepared to go to court (me) that has a successful POPLA appeal that details the circumstances on the day and that POPLA appeal will be produced in evidence?I’d also be saying that the defendant was not the driver on the day.Part of my successful appeal pointed out that the App used to pay parking for both vehicles had to be downloaded, registered and payment method entered after our vehicles had passed the ANPR cameras and were already on site. The app automatically starts the parking period at time of purchase and can’t be set to start at point of entry. We were victims of a situation that set us up to fail. Our group knew we weren’t going to make it back to the cars in time so even extended the parking by using the app to extend each vehicles time by one hour.0

No, save the stories for the WS next year
A simpler defence is say, NOT GUILTY , so prove otherwise , but use the defence template by coupon mad
The defendant should definitely be adding, but not the driver to the end of paragraph 2, if true

With an issue date of 17/10/25 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 22/10/25 and before 05/11/25 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 19/11/25 2 -
Many thanks. AOS submitted 23/10/25.Le_Kirk said:With an issue date of 17/10/25 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 22/10/25 and before 05/11/25 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 19/11/25
As the claim is not recognised on the MCOL system. Is there a particular “defend whole claim” form they should use to email to the courts? She was hoping to use the MCOL system but looks like that’s been scuppered for some reason.0 -
The defendant logs into their government gateway account first, then MCOL
the problem most people have is misreading the password on the claim form , like 1 I l etc, using incorrect looks like characters
Alternatively, study my reply here

They’re in. Found it via a name and date search. The AOS was submitted via email last night. Is that why a bar has been put on the claim?0 -
Definitely got a bar, issue date 17th October, AOS was done on 23 October
No need to respond as yet because the defence submission deadline is now 4pm on Wednesday 19th November, so plenty of time yet
Who signed it on the back near the top ? S,E ? Or D.C ?0 -
Signed by D.C1
-
No idea why there is a bar, but no matter for now, get on with drafting the defence , mcol can be checked next week or early November1
