Final week of estate agent contract

You are in the final week of the contract and suddenly they spring into action!I’d be moving agents. Why did they only suggest dropping the price now? These first agents, have taken rubbish photos, overpriced and haven’t got a single person through your door. My 1st agent is 0.5% cheaper than all other agents. I negotiated the fee down - which I almost wish I'd never done!
Although its an old and respected company, I don't think they have the manpower for my property at the moment, as it's not the highest earner on their books.
But I'm also not sure it looks good switching agents and dropping price after only 3 weeks of marketing.
The new 2nd agent wants to drop the price too as they think it will encourage viewings, competition and offers.
But I'm wondering if I should stick with my 1st agent for this year, as not long left. Get them to use my photos - which are better than theirs - and stick to the asking price.
Then - if no joy this year - in march next year, switch to the new more expensive agent who are the market leaders in my area.
