Best time to renew Home & Contents Insurance

Hi - my home and contents insurance is due for renewal in mid-November. I recalled a MSE article from 2018 (which is still on the site) saying you get the cheapest renwal quotes 17 to 30 days before the renewal date, but there's a more recent article saying you get the cheapest quote 15 days in advance. Does anyone know which MSE article is currently more accurate ? I suspect the recent article is the accurate one but I don't want to wrongly assume, miss the boat and end up paying more than I should. Thanks.
