Santander Bank App Sync proble.

Went to log on laptop. Asked to open banking app (Android). Banking app asked for update from store. Did that. Opened app to finish logon. Asked me to go back to laptop Browser. Went to browser but but had timed out. Logged on again and asked to go to app. App stuck in "Go back to laptop' as if I had just put in the PIN there to complete the logon. Went back to laptop but still waiting for App to complete. Continuous loop. Had to do a 2FA msg.

Clearly the time it took to instal the update was longer than the browser timeout so either app or browser could not resolve. Advice perhaps: if logging on via browser and asked to confirm by phone app but app says there is an update due, do not do the update until after logging on. Decide for yourself as that might be a security issue so go to 2FA option.

Dumb AI on website could not handle a problem report. i guess it's not designed for that.

Anyone had this problem?

My apps all update automatically whenever an update is available from the app store (when Wi-fi's available).
