Parking Control Management - PCN

I wont bore everyone with screenshots and specifics (unless advised to of course).
Long story short a vehicle registered in my name was parked in a restricted area (albeit a poorly signposted one at that).
No windscreen ticket, just a letter in the post a month later asking for £60.
Any point appealing or best to just wait for the court letter?
happy to provide more details if required but don't want to waste anyone's time

It would help if we knew the type of location where the alleged event occurred, because the advice may vary depending on that information.
Also, what was the date of the alleged event, and the date of issue of the PCN, and is the wording on the NTK PoFA compliant?
The advice is normally for the keeper to complain to the landowner and the keeper's MP, then appeal within relevant timeframe (usually 21 days for IPC members and 28 for BPA members) if a cancellation isn't forthcoming.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

No Problem.
Basically it was a weird industrial type area that is home to several businesses, one of which is a gym.
the offence is dated 03/10/2025 with the date of posting 13/10/25 and date of notice given 15/10/25.
image of the PCN is below for reference:

Just a quick follow up on this before the appeal date expires0

sorry mate, posted in a rush and might not have explained properly. basically the question was, is there any point appealing now via PCM's Appeal process, and subsequently appealing via the IAS. Or is it likely a waste of time and would it make more sense to wait for the Court letter to arrive.Le_Kirk said:

Fruitcake explained the standard process , but apart from the landowner complaint ( plan A ) , the appeal or 2 appeals won't achieve anything, certainly not a cancellation, which is your desired outcome
So appeal or ignore, this is going to be the long game
However
You would definitely not receive a court letter in the post, the system is
Powerless debt collectors letters
Letter of Claim ( usually from a legal firm, possibly Gladstones ). In the post
N1SDT court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL, so a Money Claim from the centralised government office, a Money Claim
Definitely no courts are involved until a few months after the Money Claim is raised, typically your local civil court, because you have to nominate a court as part of the process
The claimant has 6 years to issue a Money Claim1
