Claiming tax back from an Insolvency Service payment

The company my daughter worked for went into administration recently. She had to claim for her unpaid wages via The Insolvency Service. They have made the payment but have deducted 20% income tax. It was only a part-time job, so she never earned enough to pay tax.
Will she automatically recieve the overpaid tax back at the end of the tax year?
Or can she claim it back now using the P50 form?
If the P50 form is an option, does the payment from the InsoIvency Service payment come under 'other income since leaving employment'?

It was only a weekend job whilst at University, so she's not planning to get another job in this tax year.
Not claiming any benefits either.0
