New Restaurant/cafe in Cardiff, vegan and vegetarian specialities on the menu

In a reverse of the usual practice, the menu of the Canteen on Clifton Street promises to have at least one meat dish on every day!
The main dishes at lunch time and the evening menu change every couple of weeks.
I can recommend the scrambled egg with smoked salmon on a toasted muffin as a delicious brunch treat!

I have to admit that the fly freaked me out a bit - I actually tried to brush it off my screen before I realised! I'll have to try and remember to ask them about it if I'm in again soon.

I tried to brush it away too, that made it worse as it's not only a fly on a menu but one you can't brush away!! It would be funny anywhere but a site advertising FOOD!!
