Hi All
I received a claim form from DCB Legal in April this year for an alleged parking charge from 25.02.2020!! I followed all the procedures set out by this forum and have now received a Notice of Trial Date for 15th December. I am asking for advice on how to set out my witness statement as I have no recollection of this event from over 5 1/2 years ago. I do not have any of the original paperwork such as the NTK (if I ever received one) or subsequent hassling letters from the debt collectors as I have moved house at least twice since then. Thanks

Which parking company ?
What is their deadline date to pay the hearing fee to that court ?
Bear in mind that DCB Legal are likely to discontinue the case by email just before the hearing fee is due2 -

Can you post a redacted copy of the claim form and the added/amended paras if you used the Template Defence.
If the Template was not used a verbatim copy of the Defence filed.2 -
Parking company is G24 limited. The deadline date for them to pay the fee is 17th November.Gr1pr said:Which parking company ?

Everyone gets a hearing date. They'll discontinue before that!
Show us the NoD when it arrives (NOT the covering email).

I have contacted the court today to check if DCB legal had paid the court fee last Friday as I was ready to prepare defence for submission next week. Guess what claim discontinued! Awaiting NoD to upload here. DCBL sent two letters (to old address) offering a reduced cost of £60 to drop case before fee due date. Thank you all for your advice3
