Morning everyone thanks for the start scarlet dark and damp here but it’s supposed to dry up . I’m off out to meet my friend soon for a coffee and a catch up but otherwise not a lot planned just housework. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Dank here, the heavy overnight clouds are lifting slowly.  Off to exercise class this morning and then all to be decided.

Forecast for today is terrible, gardener has cancelled, don't blame him. 

Plenty of jobs to do around the house, not sure how much will get done. Yet again I need to tidy the freezer, don't know how it gets in such a mess.

Monday morning again and absolute miserable rain here.  

Yesterday saw me reduce the upstairs of the house to a jumble sale 😂,it was carnage for a while as I threw stuff out of the loft.  However I cleared a lovely space up there and also have loads of things for the charity shop and the tip! 

Also did another section of the floor tile grout - might finish that this afternoon. 

In work for a few hours this morning  if I can park at the supermarket next door which will save dodging puddles!

Morning! It's just a bit horrible out there today, but I will be going round and gathering the leaves again. So I've come back from wales with another bootful of linens consisting of five black bags, four ikea blue bags, two laundry bags... [ I kept my rainbow ikea bag and filled it for us, tea towels, towels for the downstairs bathroom, a handmade throw from who knows where made of pieces of suits and some funky tablecloths] the rest are bound for the sally army. I did fix the lock on the front door for her, and made sure the cupboard out the back won't fall on top of her [ very large cupboard, 7ft high, my father made for food storage but it's going rotten at the bottom because there was a flood and now it's leaning madly away from the wall]. We cleared one shelf out the back and the linen cupboard is now empty so one job done anyway. Today will be sort this house out because I;ve been away and OH has done some stuff but its all half a job, the dishwasher was put on but not emptied, a load of washing done and dried but not folded, so that'll have to go back in the tumble for ten minutes and the stuff to go back in the bathroom upstairs...Sometimes I think it's be nice to have a maid...

Ruby, hope you improve today but don't go rushing back if you aren't well. Gers, I love leaping out of bed stories, one day I might join you...dp1, hope  something can be done for your mouth. Izzy, blummin children and their music , they probably forgot they were at work Coxy, hope your family are now bwhaving themselves! Rosy, our good one shut down too, now we go much further afield, it's a shame but ours did retire so i suppose I don't blame him:) Get well soon all poorlies, hope they are swift illneses! Had an absolute rubbish night’s sleep with restless legs, I did manage to grab a couple of hours in the chair.. but never mind.. I’m on nanny duties today so until then I’m just going to potter around and rest. X

Well a first for me last night ... I got 'dumped' . Not sure how I feel at the moment but the writing was on the wall in some ways as she kept saying I need to get out and make more friends. Bloody sight easier said than done lol.
Will go off and lick my wounds for a bit.

Morning all. What a miserable day!

I've decided I'm going to make a lemon drizzle cake this morning and then do the ironing. DH has got his pneumowhatsit jab at lunchtime and then we need milk and fresh fruit, so he'll buy that whilst he's out. Other than that, a day for pottering and reading my latest library book.
