Morning all
We are the house of plague, both dd and OH have tested positive for covid I did another test this morning and mine is still showing negative but I feel so rough so I’m sure I have it it’s just not showing yet, on top of the usual covid symptoms I can’t seem to keep any food in as soon as I have eaten it all comes back up again 🤮 I will test again later, I have cancelled work tomorrow as I can’t have any of my people getting this and will see how I am Tuesday.
DD will cook dinner later her covid is on the way out so she is starting to feel better. We have roast pork and all the trimmings so I hope I can keep it down.
A day of sloth is on the cards, I will light the fire in a while and have a cosy day.
Mehefin glad you have finished the painting xx
DP1 I hope that little one feels better soon xx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Morning all, thanks @Gers for today's start. "Leaping out of bed" - what is that? It's a long time since that happened chez moi.
This morning has started with sunshine but it's likely to be short-lived as heavy rain is forecast from early afternoon for the best part of the day with top temps around 12 deg.
I seem to have joined the ranks of the poorly ones and woke up this morning with earache, sniffles and feeling worn out. Hopefully, paracetamol along with TLC will fix it. I didn't have anything specific planned for today anyway so will do only what has to be done, everything else can wait. Planned meals may or may not happen, I'll go with what my body tells me it wants!
Monthly energy bill plopped into my Inbox this morning, all as expected with a decent amount of credit in hand. I'm going to adjust the settings on the heating timer though so next month's bill will almost certainly look a bit different. I need to book a grocery delivery for tomorrow but Tue/Wed will do if there are no slots available. After that, R&R - maybe listening to music, reading or finding something on TV that doesn't take a lot of thinking about!
Sorry, I can't really remember what everyone has said (brain fog) so I'll leave you with best wishes for a good day, be it busy or not. Take care, hugs as usual. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.9 -
Afternoon all and thanks for the start @Gers x
I enjoy the SCD dances but the back stories drive me nuts. I reckon they should have ordinary people take part on alternate years, that would be more interesting.
Gammon is in the SC for late lunch along with some Pep$i max. Have been on a 4.5k walk/run, food shopped and finished painting at Mum's. Had a difficult and stressful conversation with her and got home and had a disagreement with DD, so I'm going to spend the afternoon doing nothing whatsoever. Seems the women in my life are content on causing me stress.
Glad you finished the painting @mehefin and whoop to the cash find!
Hugs to all the poorlies including dp1, dp1's little DGD and the RedRuby1231 family xx
Have a good afternoon/evening all

Thanks for all the good wishes for little one...she has managed to eat some toast and a Happy Meal today, hopefully she'll be back at school tomorrow, even if it's just for the morning x8
