Switching to accounts where you've already received a bonus, or have savings account with them?

I don't usually repeat switch offers to banks I've already had a switch payment from, but more recently I prefer some of the requirements from banks that I've switched to before.

Last year I switched to Lloyds, and opened a savings account with them which is in use. I recently switched out my Lloyds to FD and got the bonus (last did it 5 years ago). I want to switch bank in to LLoyds, but I already have a saver with them, just not the current account.

In this situation would I be unlikely to receive the bonus, and just try a bank I haven't used?

Thanks

What do the Lloyds switch T&Cs say? Don’t they say something about if you’ve received a switch incentive in the past?

Couple of years ago I tried to double bubble on a Lloyds bank switch, about 18 months after the first bonus.
I did not get the second bonus but I did get a very polite letter informing me why (and a second current account).

I reckon they are pretty good at spotting non-eligibles.

One of the advantages of being a serial switcher is getting to learn how each bank operates, how their online banking works, what features they offer on their accounts, etc. At the end of the day you need a main account somewhere, and if Lloyds ticks all the boxes for you then you might as well move your banking to them if you like what they offer.

I agree though that it's unlikely you'll get a second incentive if you're not eligible based on the current terms. I've also tried it in the past and had the same experience as above, where I got a letter outlining why I wasn't eligible.
