Considering opening a Cahoot Simple Saver, quick question

I have a Chase Boosted Easy Access account which is due to mature on 28/10/25. I already have a Cahoot Rainy Day Saver account.
My question is, if I apply for a Cahoot Simple Saver, will I have to submit ID again, or will they just allow me to open it when I apply and will I get to fund it straight away or will I have to wait for documentation?
Just trying to maximise the 12 months interest.

Well I have a cahoot sunny day saver. I opened a Simple Saver but it isn’t yet showing online, so I think I have to wait for documentation.0

Can I please ask how long ago you opened the account?
I'm going away at the end of the month so hope I get any documentation before then, although if the account information shows on line before then I should still be able to fund the account.

I opened a Cahoot account a decade or more ago. I used it for the purpose I had at the time, then it sat mostly empty and almost forgotten about until last year whan I opened a Sunny Day Saver. Cahoot didn't ask me for any new ID info.So I don't think Cahoot will want to re-ID you.N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Just applied for the Instant Access/Simple Saver (Issue 13), needed to fill out a full application but the thing was open and showing online inside 5 minutes.
I'm usually easily ID'ed on applications even when I don't already have a relationship with the institution (my details haven't changed in a decade) so, of course, YMMV.0 -

I've opened 17 Cahoot accounts. I can't remember if I had to submit ID for the first one, only remember that the process was very easy and straight forward, but after that I can confirm that I never had to submit anything since. Just fill in my details, the system recognise me and I can view and fund new account straight away.Tharweb said:I have a Chase Boosted Easy Access account which is due to mature on 28/10/25. My experience is probably not typical. It seems that I have two identies with cahoot. I got an email telling me my second account is open and even gave me a number but it is still not showing online. I sent a secure message and they say they have no record. I need to ring them.1

That's my TLA quota filled for today.1
