Refused Pay in 3 With Paypal

Seems there is no direct contact with the operators of this site which is very frustrating so hope someone can help me. Seems the reason I was refused Pay in 3 with Paypal because I used my credit card to part pay for a used car. I always pay my balance of on the due date but it isn't the due date for a few weeks so some credit reference agency halved my credit score. All I really wanted to know is when I pay of my credit card balance off, will my credit score go back to normal. Any advice would be gratefully received.

How much credit do you have left on your credit card now as that may have a bearing the lowering of the made up credit scoring system .0 -
Do you have any other borrowing e.g. an overdraft which is used?

Your credit rating is not important, it is totally meaningless. There is no one to speak to, no one to report to, no one will care about the made up number.
The CRAs are holding and and reporting accurate information to potential lenders and lenders are following bothe rules about affordability and their own risk/lending criteria.
Either wait a month until you have cleared the balance, or just buy the thing outright.0 -
Sounds more like a affordability issue, than anything else.oliver576 said:Seems there is no direct contact with the operators of this site which is very frustrating so hope someone can help me. BNPL are having to tighten up, as they risk affordability claims going forward.
Score is a meaningless figure, only shared by the CRA's with you.Life in the slow lane0 -
Unless you reside in the USA you do not have a credit score. (You can ignore the randomly generated number that CRA's assign you. This is for amusement purposes only).oliver576 said:I always pay my balance of on the due date but it isn't the due date for a few weeks so some credit reference agency halved my credit score.
You are unlikely to be informed of the reason for refusal. It may be affordability if you are carrying a high card balance but, either way, nobody is going to confirm that.0
