HSBC £100k Investment £1k cashback offer (Premier Account)

An interesting email from HSBC. Firstly inviting me to apply to upgrade to HSBC Premier (from Advance) but also if I invest £100k between 15th Oct & 15th Dec then can earn £1k cashback on 31st January 2026.

The sting in the tail is you must hold it for 12 months (even though paid in Jan 2026) and buried in the T&Cs is you agree that HSBC can reclaim the incentive should you not keep the investment for the 12 months.
Doesn’t seem worth the investment but might be suitable for some.
